Take Exam
The following test or exams must be passed in order to obtain this Cisco certification:
300-101 ROUTE
Candidates seeking the Cisco CCNP and CCDP certifications must pass the Implementing Cisco IP Routing (ROUTE 300-101) exam. Candidates who pass the ROUTE 300-101 test are certified in their routing knowledge and abilities. They are accredited in the use of cutting-edge IP addressing and routing in the deployment of highly secure and scalable Cisco routers that are linked to IPv6, LANs, and WANs.
300-115 SWITCH
The Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician credential is earned by passing the 100-101 Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1) exam, which is also a practical prerequisite for earning the CCNA Routing and Switching certification. The Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1) course is a good way for candidates to be ready for this test. The knowledge and abilities needed to establish, run, and troubleshoot a small branch office network are assessed in this exam. IP Data Network Operation; LAN Switching Technologies; IP Addressing (IPv4 & IPv6); IP Routing Technologies; IP Services (DHCP, NAT, ACLs); Network Device Security; and Basic Troubleshooting are among the topics covered in the test.
300-135 TSHOOT
The Cisco CCNP certification requires passing the Troubleshooting and Maintaining Cisco IP Networks v2 (TSHOOT 300-135) exam. The successful candidate of the TSHOOT 300-135 test is certified to possess the knowledge and abilities required to:
- Organize and carry out routine maintenance on intricate business switching and routed networks.
- Perform network troubleshooting using technology-based procedures and a methodical, ITIL®-compliant manner.
Recertification
CCNP, CCNP Wireless, CCDP, CCSP, CCNP Security, CCNP Voice, CCIP, CCNP Service Provider, CCNP Service Provider Operations, and CCNP Data Center are all Cisco Professional-level certificates that have a three-year validity period. Before the certification expiration date, you must pass ONE of the following in order to recertify:
- Pass any current 200-XXX Professional-level or any 301-XXX Professional-level exam, or
- Pass any current CCIE Written Exam, or
- Pass the current CCDE Written Exam OR current CCDE Practical Exam, or
- To extend lesser credentials, you must pass both the Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr) board review and the interview.
- The expiration date of other certifications will coincide with the expiration date of the higher certification when a higher level of certification is used to extend other certifications. For example, if you have one year remaining on your CCNA certification and you obtain a CCIE certification (which has a two-year certification life), both your CCIE and CCNA certifications will expire two years after the date you obtained the CCIE certification.
